Reporting a problem

Please include:

• what you found and what someone could do with it;
• the pEdit version (Help → What’s New) and your operating system;
• steps or a file that shows the problem.

You can write in English or Swedish. Please give us a reasonable time to fix the problem before you make it public, and don’t access or change other people’s data while testing. We’ll keep you posted and, if you like, credit you in the release notes.

How pEdit stays safe

• Signed updates. Every update is signed, and pEdit checks the signature on your computer before it installs anything.
• Your files stay local. pEdit opens and saves files only where you choose, and never uploads them.
• Little to attack. pEdit has no accounts or servers of its own. It only goes online to check for and download updates, as the privacy policy describes.
